Cloud Connect Santa Clara 2012 will be here quicker than you can say…Cloud Connect. It’s right around the corner. Here are 7 things you need to know prior to the event.
1. Convention Center
Cloud Connect will take place at the Santa Clara Convention Center, which is connected to the Hyatt Regency Hotel, February 13-16. If you stay at the Hyatt you can simply roll out of bed and attend the conference…after you brush your teeth of course.
2. Event schedule
3. Official hashtag
What’s a conference without social interaction. The official Twitter hashtag for the event is #ccevent. This is your chance to join in on the conversation and to connect with fellow attendees. Who knows, you just might get my award for the most entertaining tweeter.
Allow me to put your fears to rest, there will be Wi-Fi throughout the Convention Center.
Cloud Connect has a tremendous list of exhibitors who are bringing cutting edge products and services for you to demo right on our expo floor.
Cloud Connect is teaming up with DonorsChoose.org to help give children in every community the tools and experiences needed for a successful education. This is your chance to impact the future in a positive way.
There are two ways you can contribute:
- Evaluations — every time you complete an evaluation for a session at the conference, a donation is made.
- Giving Page — Follow the link on our Beneficiary Page widget to make a donation to any of our selected projects.
It’s that easy to make a difference in the community.
7. Mobile app
Our mobile app keeps you plugged into the event by giving you access to:
- event schedule
- exhibitor directory
- Convention Center map
Did I mention that it’s gamified? Let the fun begin! You’ll be able to:
- earn badges and points
- view and message other attendees
- and much more!
More details to come.
With all that being said, I’ll see you at Cloud Connect Santa Clara in February!
