It’s time to take the wraps off our agenda for the inaugural Cloud Connect Chicago event.  We’ve been hosting Cloud Connect in the Silicon Valley for several years now and could not be more excited to expand Cloud Connect into the important Midwest region.  Why Chicago?  Chicago is the epicenter of the industry-rich Midwest and home to both established and emerging industries including financial services, manufacturing, biotech, health care/services, transportation and distribution. Chicago ranks in the top five out of the 374 metro areas in the United States and boasts numerous Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 companies in the region.  As businesses across all industries begin to leverage cloud computing for competitive advantage, Cloud Connect Chicago will be the region’s trusted and independent conference for reliable information, networking opportunities and access to the leading solution providers.

Cloud Connect Chicago is the culmination of a lot of hard work over several months so I want to first acknowledge the efforts of our track chairs in assembling such a comprehensive conference program. The agenda includes 9 tracks of cloud content spanning 3 days and is geared to bring IT Professionals, Developers and Business Leaders up to speed on the latest developments and best practices in Cloud Computing.   The track structure covers all of the important components necessary to establish and operationalize your cloud computing strategy including:

In addition to the 3-day Conference, we have a full Pre-Conference day of in depth workshops for you to choose from. The Cloud Connect workshops are immersive, half-day programs that go deep into some of the most pressing topics in cloud computing. The workshops are designed to give you practical and actionable information in an instructive format led by leading cloud computing experts.  The Pre-Conference Workshops include:

This is an important time in cloud computing as we finally move past the era of defining the cloud and focus instead on putting it into practice.  Cloud computing represents a profound shift in how we deploy and manage applications and will offer companies new efficiencies and agility and an unprecedented opportunity for innovation.  Now is the time to set your business on a cloud computing strategy and Cloud Connect is the right place to start.  I look forward to seeing you in Chicago!
